From what I've learned so far and after hours of testing it seems that my expensive Matrox G200 does not offer much of a great choice: loosy compression with MJPEG, blurred image with YUY2 or less than 640 x 480 resolution with raw RGB capture. Let me tell you -- I don't really feel "Powered by Matrox". Even an All in Wonder 2MB PCI offers more choices.

I have both Win98sr and Win2000 professional installed on separate partitions. In fact I installed Win98, because in Win2000 is even greater tragedy -- you cannot play or capture video without dropped frames.
