  • Will "print to tape" function allow me tape using g450?

As I stated before I need a better video card to output my projects. I like the capture of the AIW but TV out is bad. I would like to get a Matrox G450 because one of the heads can output to TV. Will the MS Pro 6.0 print to tape command allow me to print the timeline to tape using the Matrox G450?

You don't need to use the Print to Tape command at all. If you have the G400/450's DualHead/DVDMax mode enabled you just have to hit "enter" and the preview goes to the vidout without displaying it full screen.

This works for just about any codec you throw at it...MPEG-1/2/4, MJPeg, Cinepak, Indeo, DivX etc. etc.

The same goes for playing clips in MediaPlayer and RealPlayer.

Thanks Doc! Is the TV out quality any different from the G450 to the G400 Marvel?

I guess I mean is the TV out hardware the same on both cards?

I =believe= the TV-Out hardware underwent another update with the G450's so the quality should be a bit better.

        You're gonna love DualHead
