Hi,
I've been having lots of problems with my system. I've asked a lot of questions and have gotten a lot of great answers. I think I've finally found my last problem. I now have 2 system drives. The 40 gb w/ 8 mg buffer is video editing system and an 80gb w/8 mb buffer is audio and gameing system drive. Both are using xp pro. I might move the audio config to win 2k on another drive. I think there was a link to xp tweaks for video editing somewhere. Does anyone know where? But my main question is my hpt rocket raid pci card is crashing some games even on a fresh install, with updated chip bios and updated motherboard bios. I think it is crashing premeire during output occasionally. Is there a better pci raid card? What is the best? I think Dr Mordrid has a raid card and a matrox rt.100. What would you recomend? I think that is the last element making my system unstable. They are two 120 gb westrn digitals with 8 mb buffer. Nunchal
ps In the editing system drive, I have disabled the aardvark soundcard. I think that has solved the audio synch problem. Is there any other tweaks or things I can do to make system more stable?
