Please HELP me with my premiere problem!!!

When i click file -- > open and then start to browse my hdd`s, it start to hang in the open(browser) on d: and e:, but it doesnt hang on either f: or c: it all works well on those, this is a BIG problem for me since all my captures is on e:
Please try to help me out!!!
btw, the premiere version is 5.1c

Start out by running Scandisk on those drives.

I have run scandisk twice on em now, bt it didnt help
The weird thingy is that its only in adobe premiere it hangs though.
I can easily browse them harddrives in other programs, i even still do capture to them!!!
