As I said yesterday in my other thread, I had a close look at the setting of DVDW 2.

The settings will revert to the last pre defined template when I use the User Defind Values 1 or 2 in the Captue options.

My settings are for PAL, 720x576, 6000 kbps, interlaceing off

Sorry, I'm still not clear as to the exact nature of your problem. I'll have a play around when I can find a moment to try and reproduce the problem.
