  • Can I run S-Video straight through the G200-TV box

This is what I want to do: Can I run my DVD S-Video (and audio too) to my Marvel G200-TV external box, then from the box back to the TV. Will everything work normally? Meaning will I be able to watch DVD's on my TV when I'm not running an Marvel Video capture stuff? Then when if I want to, I can use the Marvel to capture or something later on. But I just wanted to know if the external box will pass the signal straight though.
    thanks!

Relocated to the Desktop Video forum (where you will undoubtedly get a quicker, more definate response, since that is the forum that Marvel users frequent)
    Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s

I don't think you can do this with a G200 Marvel, since this only routes MJPEGs to the breakout box. The G400's dualhead display can route any style of video using the DVDMax setting.

Anyone else found a method ?

If you're running a DVDRom...Of course. The S-Video output of your Marvel will pass the signal cleanly to your TV.
