I have been trying to figure out a solution to this, and am hoping someone here can help out (or dash my hopes for good).
I have 3 SVHS tapes that I am trying to encode. They look great when viewed on the TV, but "jump" and "twitch" when viewed on the computer.
The whole picture may jerk, or the top portion may just twitch slightly -- in both cases it is captured in all it wonderful annoying glory.
Can anyone point out some tips on preventing this "noise" from getting through? While I understand why it is possible to look ok on the TV and not on the capture, I don't know if I can fix it -- I am hoping someone here does.
I have tried 2 different SVHS VCRs, and also tried dubbing to a VHS then capturing -- the same issue everytime. I also have other SVHS tapes that work great... so I am confident that it is just these three.
Thanks for any help!
Nick
