I am looking at picking up a Gateway laptop (one of the big ones with the 17" screens) and was wanting to know if anyone can recommend either a firewire or USB 2.0 external capture device that I could use with it.

One I was leaning towards is the Plextor ConvertX PX-M402U. Does anyone have any experience with this device?
