  • Strange problem with AVI_IO

For some reason when capturing with AVI_IO my computer will freeze up, and I get these funky, green, dotted lines across my monitor. The video and audio keep playing, the mouse can still be moved around, but my computer won't respond to keyboard and mouse clicks, and the video stops recording.

At first it did it around the same time, so I figured it was my screensaver. The next time I tried capturing I kept moving my mouse around, but that only delayed the freeze.

The problem seems to have appeared suddenly, because a few days before I was able to capture w/o any problem, and I haven't done anything to my computer since then.

Capturing with HuffYUV onto a IBM 7200 RPM drive (seperate from my Windows drive).
Matrox G200 PD 5.55 w/ Vid Tools that allow the YUY2 crack.

    Thanks,

    Are you overclocking?
If there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.

Try to "set" every options that you use such as size, codec, input source etc, etc even if they are already "set"!

I have todo this every time i start AVI_IO even if i use the same "setings" i still have to "set" them again!
