Best file-splitter for backing up AVI/MPEG to CD?

Can anyone recommend a good program which will automatically span CD's when writing a file which is too large to fit in 650Mb?

Alternatively, how about a program that will split big files into X bytes and doesn't require the installation of a lot of program files etc. ?

Hello again!

Use Virtual Dub's save segmented file command. You can specify the size of the segemented files.
