I've only had it on my system for about two weeks, but it looks more stable than 5.1c so far. Not too bad for a Premiere update

i seem to be having the same weird problem... delays in scrubbing and the whole program seems to have a delay in responding to commands at certain times. SCRUBBING seesm to be the biggest problem, i mean one can't work when u just have to sit and wait at times for the program/edit screen to update ! is this common with e'one, i would love to use premiere, but i keep facing this problem.... i end up doing all the work in AfterEffects coz it's more responsive[but needs more steps for basic v.editing tech already available in Premiere!] Help is appriciated.

      thnx

Ronen has discovered a fix for Premiere 6.0's sluggishness and crashes when applying filters, This fix is for the Matrox RT2000 but should also help resolve issues people are having with other editing cards as well

        Regards,
        Elie

        Hi,
After days of thinking about it and fiddling, I finally found the solution to Premiere 6.0 crashing with Matrox filters and Alpha channel.

In Premiere 6.0 all you have to do is go to the Effect Controls window and make sure that you enable "no previews" and "best quality". Doing this will solve all your crashing problems and will make Premiere 6.0 a lot more responsive...

        Regards,
        Ronen
