  • Advice on a small lighting kit

I'm tired of borrowing lights and rigging things with tape and such and have decided to purchase a lighting kit. I am primarily interested in lighting for interviews (documentary).

I'd like something small and portable that will get the job done. I normally use two lights (front/back) and a reflector, trying to keep right/left side of the face to a stop or less difference. Of course different projects require different moods...

Anyway can anyone recommend a solid portable kit? Something that is easy to set up, with good quality bits and pieces that don't break or pinch your fingers during set up/breakdown.

    Thanks for any advice.

Ianiro Redheads they have 2, 3 or 4 light kits
with barn doors and you can adjust the light soft to hard
add a gel kit( clip on to the barndoors) the stands are light and solid and they are not real big. I find them tough considering they are lights.can use upto 1000w bulb I have usedthem for years no complaints.
      theyre not the cheapest though
