I was going to call late this evening (not to late mind you) when I discovered my cell phone was in need of a charge... but will be calling again tommorrow night

Well here is what I do know.... his phone number is no longer valid and has been this way for about 3 months.
This could mean he changed his number or has moved. Since he lives in the same general area as I do I checked the Death notices from December - no listing so he should still be with us (somewhere) that is the good news. I do know he is retired so maybe he took a long vacation or had family issues to deal with as he has family out of state. This is just speculation on my part - the only thing I know for sure is his phone number is no longer valid. I will try to find out more as there are a few other things I can check to see what is going on - phone company for starters. I will post again if I find out anything.
Regards,
Rob

Last I heard directly was March 4th.
Sorry don't have the message logs at home, I do know he was having telco/cable issue, and net connection issues at the time.
As for any Health issues, they are his to talk about.

English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.
Fred, Doc (Terry) and I were fairly good friends. I had his PH#/address etc but now can't find it (was on a system which since then has gone bust/awaiting a rebuild)... never the less the info I do have came from his EX. I got this from going out of my way and calling various people in his area.
Let me note that I didn't just know him casually from here but that we were also beta testers for Matrox too. I have gone far and wide to in every attempt to get more accurate contact info, from other beta testers and including Haig, Matrox's tech support supervisor.
I did know about Terry's issues with Comcast's telco/internet service prior to his dissappearance of late.
ps I called again this evening and got "That # is incorrect, PH# does not exist" not when calling the PH#, but when attempting to leave a VM
Do a Google search and see the complaints on Comcasts telco service after taking over AT&T landlines... nothing that would suprise me tho, have had to deal with their idiocy myself. Comcast, a communications company that doesn't know how to communicate.â„¢

Hi,
I do not know much about the Comcast or other communications systems in the US, but there must be a way to come out to Internet, e-mail or phone to inform friends if one has problems or something.
Except if the health or the “wish†is the issue.
Doc was so active and he couldn’t just disappear.
We hope he is okay, anyway.

Terry had gone missing for a few weeks back in January also because of Comcast. Now that they own the landlines the only way he could call out would be with cellular. I don't know of too many Inet friends he had local ph#'s to... I've moved 1600km since we exchanged info last
I can "wish" all day to win that million dollar lottery ticket too, but that will be as likely as being able to afford an online investigative service.
Perhaps we should start a "find Doc fund"

I certainly don´t wanna bet on Doc cruisin´ the country as he would probably have left a "see you around, sometime" note on this forum. I can only hope for the best and fear the worst. Though I don´t know him personally, I admire his knowledge and writing style tremendously, covering both in depth and newbie issues.
