Hi All !
I have a weird graphical issue with AVID DV Express Pro, running on a P4 3.2GHz laptop with 1GB RAM, sporting a mobile Radeon 9600 with 128MB RAM.
According to this link, the only GFX cards officially supported are Quadro4, QuadroFX and Radeon VE.
To my thinking the mobile 9600 should be superior to that Radeon VE and it looks as if AVID chose to use MesaGL for rendering their GUI, with a Software OpenGL fallbackpath for non NV cards.
Now to the problem, it seems the GUI doesn't get refreshed properly, ie. a lot of buttons and borders show remnants of formerly overlapping windows, so that I have to drag a given window out of my desktop and back in, for getting the buttons visible again.
You can surely imagine how contra-productive such behaviour is and I was wondering, if you guys had some nifty tricks or hints on how to get rid of this issue.
OS is WinXP with all availabe updates and patches, AVID Express Pro is also patched to latest version, the mobile Radeon 9600 is running on latest Omega drivers, which are based on CATs 4.4.
Anything I forgot to mention for resolving this problem ?
Thanx a lot for all feedback that might come !
