Instant Preview audio probs - mspro 5.2/RR
After a couple years of problem-free use of my Millennium II/Rainbow Runner to create fully rendered files, I started to work on a project that would require timeline playback for output (a long program that would be over 2GB). When I use MSPro 5.2's "instant preview" function, the audio doesn't playback properly. It bcomes a very loud, regularly oscillating sound with just the slightest audibility of the actual sound data. I have verified that the audio settings for the preview are identical to the source files.
I'm using MSPro 5.2, and I have an ISA soundcard with a Yamaha OPL3 SA-X chip. OS is Win95 osr2. Every other application works fine with the sound card, and every other feature in MSPro works without any problems.
Have any of you encountered this phenomenon, and if so, how did you resolve it?
