  • Anyone Using Vagas Video?

After tearing my hair outon tring to learn
and run premiere and MS5 on my machine, I have swithced to Vagas Video. It has been real solid, and very intuitive. I had beed
using Sound Forge for awhile, maybe that
helped. Anyone else using this software?

I ran it for a bit during the public beta. Nice for audio but the video portion was not up to snuff.

    No thanks.

Will how is the audio in MS6? It it easy to
do Multi-Track Recording? Do must of these guys in this have forum have multi-track audio cards configured to MS6, or Premiere?

Oh! My favourite video software has been mentioned - Vegas Video. I have a question about this actually - I've got the Marvel G400 and I want to send the preview window to the TV output. It seems like its possible in VV with VfW drivers but it doesn't work. Anyone got any ideas?

This software is working great so far. Was able to run to small vedio streams, and 6
stereo tracks of audio, while I had four
aplication open on a PIII 500 with 384M ram.
          No coughing at all...happydays.
As for the monitor question. The program is setup for OHCI 1394. It allows (if checked
in preferences) to send a monitor out signal
back out a firewire card to a monitor. I have
not test the option, because only have analoge funtion with G400max/RR-G. I hope
to switch over to DV this year. I like Vagas
Video alot sofar, much easier that premiere,
or MS5, but that was just my preferences.

Im using Vegas video for cutting small video for multimedia presentations .. Vegas video is real king .. I had worked with Premiere before Vegas .. Premiere is not bad , but really slow , and not stable .. Too much crashing .. Vegas VIdeo is really quick .> Never rendering , everytime previewin in real time (on quick machine) .. etc etc .. I like it ..
