Subtitle Problem with DWS 2.0

Hi,

Experiencing an issue with Subtitles in DVD Workshop 2.0. The problem only appears on PC DVD Players (PowerDVD, WinDVD, Ulead's DVD Player, etc...).

When using subtitles, and your source video is Half D1, the subtitles get BADLY skewed (either stretched or squished depending on the playback software).

This was originally brought up by another user as an issue on another forum, and while trying to figure out what was going on, I was able to duplicate the problem when using Half D1 video source.

I've contacted several folks over at Ulead, but no replies yet. Anyone here know if this is a "known" issue?

Yes, I understand what is happening, although I haven't met it. I've used sub-titles extensively in up to four languages at a time, but my input files have always been 720 x 576 or 720 x 480. When I have a moment, I'll try and find a work-around.
