Well, you know I was probably one of the closest ( about a 3 or 4 hr drive) and I almost considered it- because I'm not busy right now, but now that you said that, I'm glad I didn't

      (sigh of relief)
      Welcome home, Terry.

I was out of town for the weekend, and last night I actually had a dream that when I got home and checked the forums you had posted a thread letting us know you where still kickin', and all was well.
Happy to see my premonition was correct

Good to have you back Doc. Everyone was really worried.

If it happens again, or to anyone else here for that matter, maybe a trip into town to an internet cafe once in a while would be in order

Or, in the case of the inevitable, put the murc url, along with username and password, in a sealed envelope somewhere for next of kin. I know, it's a little morbid, but we're all a family here, aren't we?

Very glad to have you around again Doc.

Do'nt mention carpentry. My wife has been "on my back" for these last years. I still have to finish a couple of doors in our house (whisper... that's after 18 years)

I'll suggest asking Maggi to explain that one

Wow, Doc, you've started the longest thread here for years, and in less than 24 hrs. Glad your back!

                    Patrick,

Debbie is my nickname from my "diving days".
My family name is Debono (for short, Deb). Just to confuse and make it more "fancy" the last 3 letters have been replaced by "bie"

                    Greebe,

Maggi is also a family name "g" as for "gee"

                    After all, what's in a name !!

                    Happy ? (not gay)

                      Ah, I see.

Ok, that explains it. I've seen your "name" here for some time and just assumed you were a woman who was interested in video editing. Therefore, when I saw your reference to a "wife" I was taken by surprise.

I probably could've gotten quicker responses to my questions here over the years if I had registered myself as Patty.

There already is a "Paddy" in these forums (although I've been a MURC member longer than him). Besides, the name Paddy always reminds me of rice.

Welcome back Doc, missed your clear and concise input and of course you always seem to have an alternative way to problems.

Btw Diabetes is not something easy to live with, had an uncle with it, he got diagnosed early and went on a strict diet (not in losing weight but careful in what he ate) and was a fitter and healthier for it. Wish you the best of health in future!
