Check your browser settings, or any addons you have for blocking cookies.
If the murc cookies are blocked, you will have that issue

if your running XP and SP2 its possible it changed it for you.
I'm on a mac atm, so I can't run IE to look at the settings, there is a setting for cookies and trusted cookies.
Something else you can try, look in your cookies folder - somewhere in your home dir, and delete all the matroxusers.com cookies - you will need to do that with IE closed.

sometimes the cookie gets mangled when it updates, with our hosts recent midnight slowdown/stop problem it wouldnt surprise me if the cookie just got caught in the middle.
There should be two cookies however.
One for login and one for browsing
