I have been to this exelent site and picked some movies.
Idealy it would have been great if I could download the mpeg-2 format but having at the moment a slow ADSL connection it would have taken me ages to download.
I opted for mpeg-4 (*.mp4) and found some software that would convert that format to DivX for a subsequent re-encoding to MPEG-1 (VCD)
I am using WinMPG VideoConvert to do the encoding and QuickTimeFullInstaller to supply the codecs.
Would it be at all possible to do the encoding in UMSP 7 since I will be able then to do some editng before the actual conversion ?
So far I hav'nt been able to find a codac that would allow encoding in any other software.
All the movies on the site are quite old but they bring back memories of the good old days at the parish hall "theater"
