Just a heads up :
Last week, I came across this odd DVD-recorder deck, dubbed "Airis", type L105D. It seems to be Spanish of origin. Anyhow, it raised my interest because aside from being the cheapest DVD+R/W recorder deck I've ever seen (199 Euro Retail, Inclusive VAT), it boasted DivX/Xvid capabilities as extra.
Tried it, and it worked pretty well. Only thing it lacked (bummer) was *.SRT support, but it played every Xvid/DivX disc I had available for that short time I could test it. Really amazing : not too long ago you'd have to shell out 150$ or so for a DivX-capable PLAYER (which with a bit of bad luck would refuse to play Xvid), and now you can get one with recording capabilities for roughly the same price.
