Stuttering playback from D
Hi I think I've tried everything including a reformat but the stuttering remains. I have a G400-TV w Avid but would prefer to use my MSP 5.2. Here is what I notice. When I capture to C with Avid and playback from there all is fine. When I capture with the PC-Remote to D playback is like a slide show through the remote and even worse through Media player 7. When I import the clip I capture with the remote back to Avid (on C) the clip plays fine. I haven't reinstalled MSP yet so have not looked at that. But it seems that there is a problem getting info from D to apps in C? Am I correct? What can I do to improve this. I've done all the tweakings on FAQ 33. My VT Benchmark shows about 18Mb/s on both C and D. I have a PIII700 256 Ram 2 Maxtor HDs 7200rpm each 40Gig. All this started when I tried to add more RAM but I'm back to 256 now. Thanks Leslie
