  • New Ligos mpeg suite (SVCD). Any experiences?

    I read somewhere about the new Ligos Mpeg suite 2. Alledgedly it now directly supports SVCD. Has anyone tried it? How does it compare to tMpegencoder?

    i have an encode going now. someone else told me their encodes were coming out just as good as tmpgenc.

    if it does the encoding in half the time or less and does almost as good a job, i'll be using it.

      Hej Flying Dutchman komt er nog een patch voor YUY2 capturen onder Win2k ?

        FD:
        Just downloaded the demo and it seems to encode very well compared to the previous version. Given the 60 second time limit, it's hard to tell overall whether it gives TMPGEnc a run for it's money!

          @Jeroen:
          Sorry, in de Win2k drivers zit helemaal geen YUY2 code. Die kan ik dus ook niet "vrijschakelen"... Het enige dat mijn patch doet is een onzichtbare button weer zichtbaar maken (hij verandert slechts een enkel bit in de driver!).

          But for politeness' sake, let's switch back to English lest the other board members take offense for being excluded from this discussion...

              Last time I read a topic wich switched to dutch it took an angry replyer who did'nt understand a word untill I noticed!
              Not that I claim to understand each and every word but I get by.
