I have been having a problem, now trying to use matrox's mjpeg codec, in converting the captured file to any other format (specifically, uncompressed 320x240).
After conversion, the video looks choppy, sometimes blurry, and in my opinion resembles the image resulting when you try to view an mjpeg compressed video while another application is already using the hardware.
To illustrate what I mean, I have two screenshots, both of the original mjpeg and the converted avi.

Converted AVI - http://members.nbci.com/sephiro444/messed.jpg
I have seen information in other posts which suggest using Frame Field B instead of the other options (in my case, in Ulead VideoStudio 5). However, my video converts identically, regardless of Field setting.
Please let me know what I can do, if anything, to remedy this.
Thank you very much,
