I remember a post about one of these drives being developed a few months ago, but it's been quiet since. Right now I dont own a DVD-ROM, so I really want that drive. HuffyYUV is a great way of capture, but i'm finding that you really can't compare it to a direct rip. I'm seeing some noise in my HuffyYUV captures that are from DVD which is bothering me, it's especially visible in animation where there are flat colors. In flat colors you can see that noise move around alot, but in complex scenes with lots of detail and color variation then you can't see anything. The temporal cleaner does work, but it doesn't look right when there are smooth panning scenes. So does anybody remember which company was producing this drive and when it's supposed to be out?
