Anyone who edits ordinary MPEG-2 needs his head examined. It seems pretty basic and may be OK for cutting out commercials, as they suggest.

On the other hand, for those of us that need our heads examined , this is one of the easiest-to-use and best-supported products I've ever seen. It (currently) may do only a few things, but it does them very well.
