I've installed VideoTools 1.55 (Win98/Me..) on a Marvel G400.. (Powerdesk 6.24 cannot be installed so i'm using PD 5.55)

As stated by Haig this set of VT are supported only with G200MMS but...

(Correct me if wrong, Haig..)

(if you use this set -> No tech support right ? )

I've not found (yet?) any problem using VT 1.55 on a Marvel G400.. (now YUY2 works correctly. no frame drops, and no "garbage" on video borders...)

P.S. "Simple" Question for Haig (not a technical one... only curiosity ) : The new set of VT for Win98/Me that (probably ) will be released on Late May will be 2.XX, and will use a new "Skin", right ?

I use the "new" win2k vt(2.02) on my windows XP and marvel g400tv(pal) and they work ok with pc-vcr. One problem i have seen so far is when i use avi_io and close it it reboots my computer.

Correct. Not supported allways refers to no tech supp provided.

The release in May will have a few new skins coming with it along with YUY2 support.

For anyone who's managed to try the drivers on Win2K... what display driver are you using?

The 5.34.013. After fiddling a bit with install.inf.
They seem to work without a problem so far on my G400 Marvel.
However, I still cannot choose to use or not use deinterlacing. So, no improvement on the TV picture quality. However, YUY2 capture seems to work properly (didn't have enough time to really stress it).

I tried 5.34 with the 2.02 VT last night on my Marvel G200 in Win2k. The new PC-VCR seems much more responsive, and less prone to crashing... Didn't have much time to really stress it or anything.

I installed both, the new Video Tools and the new display drivers. They both work great on my Marvel G200. Even fixed that page fault in Win 2000 when capturing. Even though these drivers and tools are for the G200 MMS they worked fine on my Marvel G200.
