I have the following system:
Windows 98se
Legend(QDI) Advance 9 motherboard
Matrox Marvel G200 8MB PCI
C drive Seagate 6GB
D drive Maxtor 17.4GB(used for video capture/editing only)
CD ROM and CD RW/R drives
Ulead MediaStudio Pro 5.2
My problem is that if I capture video at the highest quality setting(compression 6.6:1) and preview this in video editor the picture flashes and freezes for a split second. However if I create a video file suitable for recording to video tape and play this back in MediaStudio the result is OK. If I play this same file in Matrox PC-VCR the problem returns.
Capturing at a lower quality e.g.Compression 8.3:1 gives OK results but I would prefer to capture at the best quality.
Can anyone help/advise
Cheers David
