Ulead FTP Alternative Sites

I sometimes found it convenient for speed reasont to download trials and patches from here "ftp://ftp.ulead.com/pub/trial/" .
However it appears that I can no longr connect to this site. Is there a similar alternative site that works?

I tried the .tw site, and this is now requiring permission for the "pub" ftp files, too. Perhaps the new owners of Ulead are making changes...

Have you tried "ftp2.ulead.com" and "ftp3.ulead.com" yet?

As of right now I don't get any permission request for the .tw site.

Are you using a browser of an ftp client? If the latter, you may need to put in "anonymous" if it asks for ID or "guest" as password. If you are using a browser, then it's slightly more complicated, but ftp downloading is VERY browser-related. Just tried it in Firefox and got permission denied. In my FTP-client (SmartFTP), I could not get any connection, at all, with any of the addresses. However, I went into the web site and chose a download, changed the http prefix to ftp and tried it in the FTP client as anonymous. It got through and showed the directory tree, but all the directories are protected and access is not possible. I guess there is a problem.
