Has anyone tried the RT2500? Is it as fussy as the RT2000 or is it easier to install? Are there prescribed motherboards/ audio cards/ display boards or does it work with most brands? Is it stable or does it keep crashing every now and then?

Who said the RT2000 is fussy to install?
Anyway, I'm using the RT2500 and I think it's a great card, It uses only one IRQ for all it's components like 1394, the built in display and the audio, so you don't have to worry about IRQ issues.
The card is stable and works great with Premiere 6.0, scrubbing is smooth, I have not had one crash yet, but that's me.
I'm have the RT2500 installed in an Asus P2B-D dual PIII 600 board with 512mb ram.

Hi,
RT2000 is easy to install, if your HW is not exotic. I try it with ASUS P2B/PIII500/128MB and ABIT BX-133 RAID/PIII700/128MB. It is realy good card.

Ou.. then I noticed that this is about RT2500... This card I do not try, but I mean that this is the same.
