1. I see a lot of talk about real time 3d transitions, page curls, organic wipes...I bet these are a big technical evolution but how important are they when editing? Do many people use them regularly? MY MAIN QUESTION IS WHAT ABOUT THE FILTERS? Shouldn't filters like brightness and contrast, color balance, hue and saturation be considered a basic tool when editing and therefore be RealTime? Specially considering they're probably used all throughout a clip.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the backwards the only Realtime filters on RT2000 (I think DV500 has a few more)? Why?
The reason I'm asking is that I see that there are a lot of great filters (I only know those in Premiere) that I would like to use in RealTime much more then I would almost all of those diferent kinds of transitions.
2. Is there a way to find out specifically wich are the effects performed in Real time by each of the cards? Matrox describes the newly released ones but what about the others?
3. RT2000 has a technology capable of upgrading and adding more RealTime effects, what about the DV500 does it stay with the same effects forever?
Thank you for your comments
