G450eTV and DirectX

I applied the DirectX8 and DirectX8 DV updates over my G450 Marvel install and have had no problems.

I think its safest to generally install the drivers first and then re-install the newest DirectX that you believe worth using.

G450eTV and DirectX

Hi,
I have just taken delivery of a nice new G450eTV (UK PAL). What version of Direct X should I use? Is the Direct X DV Updater required?
This is my first Matrox card (I have always used ATI but can't stand their driver suport any more!) can any one point me other good Matrox web sites?
