G450 eTV Tuning problem

I have just installed a G450 eTV (PAL UK) on my PC (Asus A7V TB 850 -new Win98 install no other cards). The setup was ok apart from the TV tuning. The auto scan found several stations but only one has a picture (picture ok-ish but with jagged edges to straight lines). I live in an area with excellent TV reception (my Pocket Casio works even with the aerial down) and the eTV is linked to a roof aerial which worked fine with my old Win TV Go.
Has any one else had problems in the UK with this card? Is it RMA time?

I've had exactly the same problem. This is how I eventually got around it. I reinstalled the Video Tools then when Quickconnect runs for the first time it will give yu the option of scanning for the channels, don't do this just hit next and it will load up the default UK channels rather than actively trying to find them.

Nice one Ant, I didn't think of that.

Instead, after having run Quick Connect and getting garbage, I just went to the tuner section of PC-VCR and ran the channel scan. It took a few minutes, but ended up with decent tunings for all 5 terrestrials. Specially bearing in mind I only use a set-top loop aerial here in the study.
