Doesnt' sound like it has MiniDV recording as in a deck but just IEEE-1394 input so you can record to the HDD or DVD. Hell...<$200 LiteOn's can do that to DVD, and I'd rather use a computer for HDD/editing

Is their any software that will let DV export applications see the DVD Recorder? I've an <$150 GoVideo DVD Recorder with 1394 input that works pretty well, but when I try to export from MSP6.5 or Vegas Video I get "No DV Camera Device" error. It does work fine if I dump to DV tape first and play back from the DV camcorder.Originally posted by Dr MordridDoesnt' sound like it has MiniDV recording as in a deck but just IEEE-1394 input so you can record to the HDD or DVD. Go to this link and expand the pix. There is a Mini DV deck on the front left side along with a DVD deck on the rite. No VHS
