  • Anybody bought/using Pioneer's A03 these days?

Mine's on order from Germany, should get it next month

A local chain has some preorders going (prepaid, like anyone's going to do that) and the package deal there is 1 DVDR, 1 DVDRW and DVDit package which supposedly can write the Video DVD. No idea when Nero will support standard data DVD, or if a packet writeing sw is included.

I've spoken with local Pioneer's importer here (in Slovakia). He said that the bundle for Europe is still not definite. He will know more at the end of this week on next week.
He also said there is 5pcs of CD-R, 1pc DVD-R and no DVD-RW in the box.
Those medias are available this time together with DVD-R for general use. The prices for Europe is not known yet.
End user price for A03 is promised to be 900EUR but not for sure.

Bundle should contains (he said), VOB's InstantCD/DVD authoring and Prassi's burning sw.

    P.S.
He also said that current standalones will not be able to play DVD-RWs. That format is still not a standard and probably will in november...

      Anybody bought/using Pioneer's A03 these days?

Is there anybody outthere who bought that DVD burner?
If yes here are my questions:
Are there bundled any media DVD-R and DVD-RW?
If yes does anybody tested burned DVD-RW on some standalone?
Is there any authoring/burning software bundle?

I really cannot get these informations anywhere.
I suppose that better is to ask a real user if any.

      thanks

      Ivan
