    * Intelligent Burn Assistant quickly creates any disc-type of your choice for TV and PC.

MAGIX Movie Edit Pro 11 will be available March 30th, 2006.

Camcorder & Computer Video Magazine chose MAGIX Movie Edit Pro as its “Top Pick” in June 2005, calling it, “Incredibly powerful...This program can do almost anything the $500 programs can do.”

And Videomaker said, “No video editing software has ever offered so many features for so little money, period,” in July 2005.

NATIVE MPEG-2 EDITING *WITH* SMART RENDER.

But I don't know if it supports MPEG-4 native editing.

    Still, impressive for the price.

    Forgot to emphasize:

This program apparently gives the user the ability to output HD DVDs (if you have a high definition DVD burner).

    Again, not bad for $59.99.

I've been working with the European version (called Magix Video deLuxe) for a few years now and it's by far the best NLE suite in it's class. Worth 3 times the retail price.

On the other hand, Jan Ozer of PC MAGAZINE gave the software a "fair" rating:

Yes. Well, I have to disagree with him. This is a budget NLE suite with a professional look. Looking much more mature and serious than Ulead Video Studio and outperforming Pinnacle Studio especially in terms of stability. I just can't compare it to Premiere Elements because I haven't tried that, but then I've never been a fan of Premiere anyway.
