VT 1.55 and YUV captures under 98SE?

Hi everybody,

I am a bit confused now about VT 1.55 capabilities. Currently I am a Marvel G400 using VT 1.52 with the YUV hack and would be interested in upgrading to 1.55.

Can it be done without losing YUV capture capabilities? Does it really work with the Marvel under 98SE? I don't use hardware MJPEG at all, so YUV is absolutely necessary.

Please see my other post -- it does work, but how well I can't say with a currently broken setup.

For the YUV however, it's a different vcap dll, so the patch didn't work. Unless you can persuade someone to write another, you'll have to use something like exescope to alter it yourself. FWIW, as Flying Dutchman said, it's just a matter of setting all the controls to visible, and takes about 20 seconds.
