    Can somebody explain me how does the camera behind the glass on top of the basket can record 3D images ?? During the time out they where showing a moment of the game and then pause it on a frame and rotate it in 3D to see the action from another angle ....

    How does it work ?

    They weren't just using one cam. They use an array of cams around the arena that are linked and coordinated by a network.

    The technique itself is a form of the "Bullet Time" effect that was used in The Matrix, but done in near realtime. It was first used in some football games last fall.
