Hi,
Now that the G550 is coming around the bend in conjunction with a G450-eTV rebate, it gets really confusing. I don't care about "headcasting," but the DualHead and DVD features is what I am after.
For someone looking for the best DualHead-like features under Win2K (output to tape, watch a DVD, or similar), go for a G400, G450 (with rebate), G550, or a competitor?
From initial looks, the G550 has no support for hardware MPEG playback. However, the currently known specs make it look like a competitor to the GeForce2 MX. If I understand it, Matrox has DualHead working for the G550 under Win2K.
I'm wondering how soon till a G550-eTV is announced. Hopefully, not long at all.
