Absolute "winner" of the benchmarks is rarely cost effective. Benchmark score per dollar is the figure of merit to get the most bang for the buck.
Until these things actually are for sale and we see what the real world prices are, its a good time to hold off on any updates or new system purchases.
OTOH, if you've got PCI boards you need to keep using, your motherboard choices get slimmer every week. Here at work we're stocking up on "old" Gigabyte GA-K8U-939 motherboards as its oen of the few around with 5 PCI slots.
