    Marvel G200 works fine in my p3-800/100mhz in an ASUS CUBX board. No problems as you descibe.

        Nope, AGP 1x doesn't make a difference. The CPU is rated at 8x100 MHz so I don't fiddle with the voltages either. AS I said, only MMX applications are affected by the problem (directX, photoshop) so I assume the MMX unit in this particular CPU stops working reliably above a certain clock rate. I'll try a different CPU and/or RAM next week. I can't imagine it's the RAM. I develop software and spend the whole day behind this PC without a single crash...
