Gah, it's damn good thing that this kind of crap wasn't going (at least to this severity) on when CDs came out or we'd probably still be using vinyl and cassette tapes.

Where HD Discs are concerned, I certainly agree with Jerrold.. this venue is too green to jump into quite yet. I would have said the same about HDTVs 6 years ago, or even 2 years ago wrt LCD flat panels.

Blu Ray as a format deserves to win, but then again, so did Beta.
