I scrutinized this model at Circuit City the other day.

Man, the picture was quite a bit better than the pictures of competing HDTVs and I believe the reason had to do with the image processing capabilities of SONY's monitor technology.

The $3500 price tag puts it out of my reach, but I'm thinking that those who wait will be rewarded in another year or two as the superior image processing technology in the top SONY models migrates downward into the more affordable HDTVs.

1080 LCD was amazing when I saw it in a shop however at £4000 a little steep.
