    Here's a link to some benchmarking of Kentsfield, aka Core 2 Quad running a bunch of apps including Sony Vegas 7.

    SIGNIFICANT speed improvements especially when you take into account the Quad is running 266Mhz SLOWER than the Dual Core. I've done some testing and Vegas 7 is well optimized for multithreading so I know it's making good use of all four cores.

    These Quad core chips are going to be great for video editing.
