Ulead MPEG-4 Capture Plug-In?

Question.

In the MediaStudio Pro 8 manual, there's mention of a "Ulead MPEG-4 Capture Plug-In."

Is that plug-in available to all users?

The reason I ask is I could swear that plug-in wasn't in the list until I bought the MPEG-4 plug-in as a separate purchase from the Ulead Web site.

Now I see the plug-in.

But -- again -- I didn't notice it before I bought the plug-in.

Has it always been there?

Or did it install with the plug-in?

I wonder why the manual makes reference to it as if it were a standard program option.



That seems confusing to me.

The reference to the MPEG-4 Capture Plug-In is on page 212 of 308.

It does not suggest to the reader that one must *purchase* an optional plug-in for this to be installed.

Confusing.
