600$ are quite expensive, but it´s promising.

The way started with Panasonic AG-HVX200 HD seems the right direction.

Also remember new 1.8" classical HDs. Very smalls with lot of space. Cheaper but fragile.

Yes, this is definitely good news. If we see some significant market penetration I'm sure the prices will really start to come down.
