I'm making a demo for a band and I have about 25 projects, 1 for each song.
Each project has 3 cameras and about 20 tracks of audio in it.
After editing and mixing each project I can open a new instance of the NLE and drop the project into the timeline. The project will appear as a video track and an audio track.
So far no big deal.
Now I bring in a few projects and overlap them to create a nice flow from one to the next.
Then I notice the vocal is a little too loud from one to the next, or the bass too low, I can open the original project in another instance of the NLE, make the change, and save the project.
As soon as I save the project the master project updates with the changes I just made to the "sub-project."
I think this is a really cool feature, at least for this project I'm working on.
