That'll do it for me. Now I can buy a relatively inexpensive player.
For BR discs all I have to do it switch to BR rentals from Netflix.

I just looked at this thing again. Dang it's only a PC drive that plays BD but only records DVD and CD. Not really much use I'm afraid as you will most likely have to change out the PC to get the latest DRM ridden hardware to play these movies..
hmm. so, basically, the XBox 360 HD-DVD drive is still the cheapest way of watching HD movies on a PC.
