I would like to capture wide screen DVD from Satellite transmission.
One way I have been doing it, is to capture in 16:9, edit in UMSP 7, cropping from top and
bottom while keeping the original size.
This is an effective metod in keeping a correct aspect ratio but involves a long time to
re-encode the movie with a loss of quality.
Is there a way I can capture to a correct (wide) aspect ratio from a 4:3 source that will
give me a correct ratio both on a wide screen and also on a conventional screen ?
