JVC Announces 1080/60p High Definition Camcorder Models
Victor Company of Japan will launch the GZ-HD6 HDD camcorder in mid-February 2008 as a new model for the Everio series.
The product is capable of 1080p HDTV video output. There is no manufacturer's suggested retail price.
The GZ-HD6 performs the progressive processing for both input and output signals and allows the output of 1080p HDTV video at 60fps. As a result, the pixilation that appears obliquely behind objects in the video has reportedly been reduced. The signal processing circuit in the playback output system is equipped with the company's proprietary image processing LSI "GENESSA."
